Businessmen of Eastern region emphasizes on the importance of providing job opportunities
An expanded meeting as response to the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
Al Rashid: Such a collective efforts among all responsible parties as national duty
Anumber of businessmen in the EasternRegion valued the government's keenness on providing good decent life for Saudi citizens through the combined efforts from both public and private sectors to provide job opportunities.
Throughout an expanded meeting called by Asharqia Chamber as a response to the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the government aspirations to the private sector to address its role in this regard, attended by the Chairman and members of the Board of the Chamber and a number of businessmen on Wednesday, 23March, 2011 held at the Chamber.
In this regard said Chairman Chamber of Abdulrahman Bin Rashid Al-Rashid that business sector of the Eastern region hurried to hold this meeting in terms of its commitment in achieving the government aspirations and provide decent job opportunities for Saudi citizens.
Al-Rashid mentioned that meeting noted to the Eastern region successful experience in applying Saudization, where it is one of the top regions in Saudization percentage in the private sector, as it is the lowest rate in unemployment compared to the national unemployment rate.
Pointing out that the Chamber efforts upon serving the business sector in the region including its initiative in calling for a Human Resources Development Fund as well as launching the award of Saudization which carried the name the Second Deputy His RoyalHighness Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, one of its efforts to encourage institutions and companies to adopt the Saudization.
In addition to establishing a special center in the provision ofemployment opportunities to thousands of job seekers since its start in 2006 in order to activate its role in the process of recruiting young Saudis.
Al-Rashid noted to the positive response made by businessmen of the Eastern region and their readiness for cooperation, indicating that the meeting underlined the collective efforts among all responsible parties for this National duty.
